Can I send groceries to Zimbabwe from the UK, US or South Africa?
Yes, to Harare. You book from anywhere and a shopper in Harare buys the items there and delivers them, so nothing is shipped across a border. Requesting a shopper is free; card and EcoCash checkout are being switched on.
Which cities can the shopper deliver to?
Shop Live is now piloting in Harare. Other cities are not open yet.
What does it cost?
The items at the till price, a service fee of 5% of the goods (minimum US$2) and US$3.50 delivery, each on its own line before you pay. Tips are optional and go to the shopper and driver in full.
How do I know the right things reach my family?
You approve every item on the video call, and you approve the store bill before the shop is paid. At the door the driver must enter a 4-digit door code from your order page, so share it only with the person receiving the bags.
Can I set up a monthly basket for my parents?
Yes. Turn on Repeat when you book and choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Each run is filed at 07:00 Zimbabwe time, you approve every item on the call, and you can pause or cancel any time.
What if something is out of stock?
You choose before the call: ask me (the shopper proposes a swap and you approve it), best match (like-for-like within 10% of the price), or skip it.
